About Simon

Simon is a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist with a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Coaching. Since qualifying as a registered counsellor Simon has supporting clients from a wide demographic with an increasingly varied range of issues.

His previous work experience, and subsequent training has included coaching, so depending on your situation, Simon’s approach brings you the freedom to bring whatever you wish to the sessions, whether your past, present, or looking at ways you can enjoy a happier and more fulfilled future.

Simon embarked on the long road of counselling training five years ago, after spending over a decade in the corporate world in the city (including working for two high profile FTSE 100 organisations), and has entered counselling as a second career. He draws on his own unique life and work experiences and incorporates them into his therapeutic practice and approach.

Simon is acutely aware of all the challenges and struggles life can throw at us, and is also aware that how we react and cope with events is often down to how we feel about ourselves and our ability to manage.

Through his therapeutic work Simon has worked with a wide range of clients who walk around with a veil of shame surrounding them. Shame can impact every area of our lives, not just our relationship with others; it can infiltrate everywhere. Through working with Simon, he can help you unlock the keys to not just specific issues like anxiety, bereavement or depression, but also the most crucial and important relationship for happiness, the relationship we have with ourselves.

"Without deviations from the norm, progress is not possible."
